Artist's Comments
The runners for this rocking chair are made from a wagon wheel that I cut in half. Fabricated steel, rope webbing, and foam and fabric cushion. It is very fun to rock in because it lets you go back much further than most rocking chairs. You can also sit backwards and ride it like a rocking horse.
The photograph was taken in the Raising room of my schools metals studio. I intend to get a picture of it taken by someone who knows what they're doing.

Wow, great work! Never seen a rocket like that, it look very comfortable and funny to be seat on. I like very much the wheels and the shape of the seat when gets thinner on the top.
