This is my final project for Intro to Blacksmithing. The chain is forge-welded, each link is 3" long. The handle was designed by me but I did not turn it myself, it is about 17" long.

A nice piece of work, but the chain is dangerously long... Mine has only five chain segments and it's already too long, so it could swing back when you try to stop it and hurt your hand at the handle. But still a very nice and clean work.

The handle would be better longer, it was not intended to be as much of a 2 handed flail as it is. It is one of those things that I'll remember for next time.
